We use the Pantone Solid Coated book for precise ink mixing. If you provide a Pantone colour from this book, we can match it exactly. For online colour references or hex codes, we will match as closely as possible, but keep in mind that screen displays in Illustrator or other design programs are not always accurate. For the best results, we recommend using a Pantone book less than one year old. If you require a specific colour but you do not have the Pantone code, we recommend booking an appointment in our showroom to choose directly from our books.

We can’t print transparencies in screen printing since we require solid images, which poses challenges for effects like gradients and fades. To achieve these effects, we use halftone dots—small dots that gradually decrease in size as the image fades. This technique allows us to simulate gradients and even create the illusion of more than 8 colours by overlapping dots of different sizes to add depth and shading.
