What are Printed Patches?
Printed patches are a versatile way to showcase detailed logos by printing designs onto fabric rather than stitching them.
Using Film-to-Fabric (FTF) or DTF technology, your design is printed onto transfer film, heat pressed onto twill, then cut to shape and finished with either a merrowed or embroidered edge.
This method is ideal for highly detailed designs that embroidery can’t replicate, including small text, gradients, and complex artwork. Printed patches are a great choice when clarity and detail are the priority.
What shapes and edge options are available for printed patches?
With laser-cut precision, we can create custom patch shapes for a unique look.
Round and simple shapes are typically finished with a merrowed edge, which wraps around the border for a classic, durable finish. More complex or irregular shapes use an embroidered satin-stitched edge, which follows the outline of the design and allows for sharper corners and custom contours.
